Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product models and product classifications, conditions of use, technical requirements, test classifications and test items, test requirements and test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and factory documents of series reactors for high-voltage shunt capacitors. . This standard applies to series reactors (hereinafter referred to as reactors) in power systems with voltage levels of 6 kV to 66 kV, which are connected in series with high-voltage parallel capacitor banks to suppress grid voltage waveform distortion and closing inrush current.
