- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of hexahydroxy polyether polyols. This standard applies to hexahydroxypolyether polyols prepared by ring-opening polymerization of sorbitol, sorbitol and glycol or sorbitol and glycerin with propylene oxide under the action of a catalyst.
