This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine cabinet air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as air conditioners). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of mechanical compression air conditioners with a nominal cooling capacity of 4.5 kW to 35 kW and using water-cooled condensers and motor drives installed in air-conditioned cabins of ships.
