- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine electromagnetic pendulums (hereinafter referred to as electromagnetic pendulums). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of electromagnetic pendulums, and also applies to electromagnetic pendulums for gyrocompasses for other purposes.
