Scope

This standard specifies the purpose of monitoring nuclear facility effluents, the principles and requirements for the preparation of monitoring plans, the technical requirements for sampling and measurement, and the requirements for recording, reporting and archiving of measurement results. This standard applies to effluent monitoring from all nuclear facilities involved in the handling and processing of radioactive material.
