Scope: This standard specifies the general principles and technical regulations to be followed for nuclear radiation environmental quality assessment. The purpose is to improve the scientificity of nuclear radiation environmental quality assessment, improve the environmental quality, and ensure the radiation safety of the public. This standard is applicable to enterprises and institutions that should evaluate the environmental quality of nuclear radiation, such units include: a. Each unit of the nuclear fuel cycle system; b. Land fixed nuclear power plants and nuclear thermal power plants; c. Owning production or operating Research and application units that discharge radioactive substances to the environment corresponding to Class A and Class B laboratories (or operating sites).
