Scope
This standard specifies the equipment, environment, personnel, equipment, magnetization specifications, performance verification, inspection area, acceptance conditions and inspection records for the continuous magnetic particle wet method testing of the integral continuous fiber forged steel crankshaft of a reciprocating internal combustion engine high-power diesel engine. This standard is applicable to the wet continuous method magnetic particle inspection and defect assessment of new reciprocating internal combustion engines and high-power diesel engine integral continuous fiber forged steel crankshafts (hereinafter referred to as crankshafts) with cylinder diameters greater than 160 mm. Other internal combustion engine integral continuous fiber forged steel crankshafts can be used as a reference.
