Scope: This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon steel pipes (hereafter referred to as "pipes") used for piping to convey steam,water (except public water supply service),oil,gas,air,etc. at comparatively low working pressures. This Standard is applicable to pipes with an outside diameter of 10.5 mm to 508.0 mm.
