This standard stipulates the scope of journal article resources, description objects, and relationships between description objects based on the content and characteristics of journal article resources, establishes a set of elements for journal article metadata specifications, and defines elements and their modifiers in detail. This standard is designed for the general elements of journal articles. Other information not included and that may appear during application development can be expanded on the basis of the normative framework of this standard. This standard is applicable to cultural information institutions, and can be adopted directly or after revision in other information resource fields, but its revision must follow the basic principles and expansion principles of this standard.
