This standard establis es the basic principles and requirements for the operation, maintenance and management of the main feed water deaerator in the secondary circuit of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant. This standard is applicable to the operation and maintenance management of the secondary loop main feed water deaerator during the commercial operation phase of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Deaerators in other reactor-type nuclear power plants can be implemented as a reference.
