This standard specifies the methods and technical requirements for on-site impact testing of newly installed gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS for short) with a rated voltage of 363kV and above and a frequency of 50Hz. This standard applies to gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear that uses SF gas as the insulating medium in whole or in part. GIS with rated voltage below 363kV and SF tank circuit breakers used alone may refer to this standard.
