Scope
This section gives the principles, conditions, treatment process and water chemistry control indicators for using sodium hydroxide to treat steam drum boiler water in thermal power plants. This section is suitable for sodium hydroxide treatment of ultra-high pressure and subcritical drum boiler water in thermal power plants above 12.7MPa. Boilers with drum pressures exceeding 17.2MPa should undergo boiler thermochemical tests, steam carrying tests, etc. to determine the adaptability of sodium hydroxide treatment.
