This standard specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, performance parameters, technical requirements, test items, test methods and requirements, marking, lifting, packaging, transportation and storage of 750kV and 1000kV oil-immersed shunt reactors (referred to as reactors) and installation and safety, and stipulates in Appendix A the technical parameters and requirements for neutral point grounding reactors used in conjunction with 750kV and 1000kV class shunt reactors. This standard is applicable to single-phase oil-immersed shunt reactors with voltage levels of 750kV and 1000kV and rated frequency of 50Hz and neutral point grounding reactors supporting 750kV and 1000kV shunt reactors specified in Appendix A.
