Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the basic structural types of boiler manholes and handhole devices. This standard applies to manholes and handhole devices on boilers with rated pressures less than or equal to 3.8MPa. Manholes and handhole devices on boilers with rated pressures greater than 3.8MPa may refer to this standard.
