This standard specifies an engineering method for the determination of the sound power level of noise under free sound field conditions on a reflecting plane. The engineering measurement method of noise sound power level in reverberation room is appended as Appendix C (supplement). The sound pressure level measurement method is included in Appendix E (reference). This standard applies to the determination of noise sound power levels of various types of centrifuges, separators and filters.
