- Scope
- This standard provides guidance on sea trial planning, implementation and reporting to shipowners, ship design and construction personnel, and test personnel, and provides basic information on a unified format for sea trials. This standard applies to sea trials of various types of mechanically propelled ships listed in Appendix B. This standard does not apply to submarines.
