Scope: This standard specifies the detailed operational requirements of gas chromatography for the analysis of heavy hydrocarbon components in pipeline natural gas, so that the hydrocarbon dew point of natural gas can be calculated using a suitable equation of state. This standard applies to natural gas with a maximum dew point temperature (critical condensation temperature) between 0 °C and -50 °C and a pressure between 2 MPa and 5 MPa at the maximum dew point.
