Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging and storage of marine coolers, condensers, heaters and evaporators and other heat exchangers. This standard is applicable to lubricating oil, fuel oil, hydraulic oil, heat transfer oil, sea water, fresh water, steam, air, ammonia, lithium bromide, R22 and R134a (or other refrigerants) with a design pressure not greater than 2.5 MPa and a medium temperature not exceeding 350°C Design, manufacture and acceptance of heat exchangers.
