Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the flow rate, head, shaft power, speed, NPSH of centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps, axial flow pumps and vortex pumps, as well as the processing of test data and error analysis. This standard applies to the test of pumps that use normal temperature water or other liquids similar in nature to normal temperature water as the test medium, including pumps without any piping accessories and combinations of pumps with piping accessories.
