Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and descriptions, cable structure, technical requirements, cable product acceptance inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, cable anti-corrosion and protection, cable Installation, cable replacement, cable inspection, etc. This standard applies to the design, test and installation of steel strand cables (hereinafter referred to as cables) of cable-stayed bridges using a single PE protective steel strand as a tension member. This standard applies to the stay cables of highways and urban road bridges, and the stay cables of other engineering structures can also be used as a reference.
