Scope

This standard specifies the method for naming the models of aviation-derived gas turbines (hereinafter referred to as gas turbines) and complete sets of equipment. This standard applies to newly developed aviation-derived gas turbines and complete sets of equipment. Other types of gas turbines and complete sets of equipment can be implemented by reference.
