- This part of SN/T 3589 specifies the real-time fluorescence PCR detection method for grouper components in exported foods. This section applies to 10 species of grouper [including red-spotted rockfish] belonging to 4 genera [Epinephelus, Promicrophs, Plectropomus and Cromileptes] in food. Spotted grouper (Epinephelus akaara), moire grouper (Epinephelus moara), brown grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus), spotted grouper (Epinepheluscoioides), blue grouper (Epinephelus awoara), hawksbill grouper (Epinephelus quoyanus), Promicropslanceolatus, Plectropomus leopardus, Plectropomus maculatus and Cromileptes altivelis] and qualitative detection of counterfeiting of their products.
