Scope
This standard specifies the determination method for quantitative screening of cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin and lead in rubber and plastic products using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This standard applies to tire rubber, silicone rubber, polyethylene (PE), polycarbonate (PC), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile-butadiene- Determination of cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin and lead in styrene (ABS). The lower determination limits (LOQ) of this standard for cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin and lead are 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg respectively.
