Scope

This standard specifies a method for screening chromium-containing pigments in paints using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is suitable for screening three pigments: chrome yellow, lead chromate, and molybdenum chromium red in paints. This standard does not apply to chrome green paint.
