- This part of SN/T 1151 specifies the detection method of Penaeus monodon-type baculovirus (MBV). The wet slide test of feces can be used for primary screening of broodstock. The combination of tissue sections and PCR methods can be used as a confirmed quarantine method. This section applies to the diagnosis and identification of baculovirus disease in Penaeus monodon, and to the epidemiological investigation, quarantine and monitoring of the disease.
