Scope

1.1This test specification describes the sound transmission loss measurement procedure for windows, doors, skylights and glazed wall sections. 1.2The Outdoor-Indoor Transmission Class (OITC) and Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings are generated from the sound transmission loss test data.
