Scope: This standard specifies the classification, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of hydrostatic balances. This standard is applicable to measure the difference between the mass of the measured object in the air and the mass immersed in water according to the principle of Archimedes' law, and obtain the volume of the measured object to calculate the density of the measured object (density > 1 g/cm³) hydrostatic balance (hereinafter referred to as the balance).
