- This standard specifies the performance test, naming, marking, size and other requirements of portable single lithium batteries and battery packs. The purpose of this standard is to provide buyers and users with a set of standards for lithium batteries and battery packs to evaluate the performance of lithium batteries and battery packs provided by different manufacturers. This standard specifies minimum performance requirements and standard test methods, as well as test results issued to users. Therefore, users can determine the performance of commercial batteries and battery packs through the indicated technical parameters, so that they can choose the most suitable batteries and battery packs for their intended use. This standard applies to lithium batteries and battery packs using various electrochemical systems. Each electrochemical pair has a specific discharge voltage range and typical nominal voltage and end-of-discharge voltage during the discharge process. Users of lithium batteries and battery packs can consult the manufacturer.
