Scope

This part of GB/T 30246 specifies the communication protocol of home multimedia and data network, including interaction model, device management, media management, media transmission mechanism and its cross-network application and communication protocol with the control network. This part applies to the construction of multimedia and data networks composed of consumer electronics products, computer products, and communication products in homes or similar indoor places.
