GB/T 24803.2-2013
Scope
1.1 This part of GB(/T) 24803: a) specifies the safety parameters of elevators, elevator components and elevator functions; b) supplements GB 24803.1- 2009 specifies systems and methods. 1.2 This standard applies to lifts: a) installed in any permanent and fixed structure, which is in or attached to a building, except where installed in: 1) private dwellings (single family) ; or 2) on transport equipment, such as: ships. b) have any of: 1) rated load capacity, size and speed of the carrier; and 2) operating distance and a certain number of landings. c) Affected by fire in the carrier, earthquake, weather or flood. d) Reasonably foreseeable misuse (such as: overloading), but does not consider vandalism. 1.3 This section does not apply to: a) All needs of disabled users1. or b) risks arising from: 1) operations during the manufacture, installation, testing, modification or dismantling of elevators; 2) use of elevators during firefighting and emergency evacuation; 3) vandalism; 4) fires outside the carrier; 5) Explosive atmosphere; 6) Transport of dangerous goods.
