Scope: This standard specifies three methods for measuring the vacuum resistance of rubber or plastic hoses and hose assemblies according to the inner diameter of the hose: method A--applicable to hoses with a nominal inner diameter of 80 mm (including 80 mm); method B- - for hoses with a nominal inside diameter greater than 80 mm; Method C - for hoses of all sizes. Methods A and B can also be used to check for adhesion (delamination) between the inner liner and reinforcement of a rigid-wall hose or hose assembly.
