Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for penetrant testing of copper alloy propellers on civil ships, test blocks, testing, classification of display traces, defect assessment, testing reports, etc. This standard is applicable to the detection of surface opening defects that occur during the manufacturing and use of copper alloy propellers for civilian ships. The inspection of copper alloy propellers for ships can be carried out as a reference.
