- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of internal combustion engine tube-fin oil coolers. This standard applies to tube-fin oil coolers (hereinafter referred to as coolers) for internal combustion engine fuel and transmission oil. Tube-fin oil coolers for other purposes can also be used as a reference.
