- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic parameters and types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging requirements for electric lawn mowers. This standard is applicable to cutting elements with non-metallic fiber ropes or freely rotating non-metallic knives for mains power supply under general environmental conditions, and for lawn mowing operations held by a standing operator. The rated voltage does not exceed single-phase AC 250 V's electric lawn mower (hereinafter referred to as the mower). This standard does not apply to scissor-type and rigid-blade lawn mowers.
