- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements for high-precision hoist chains (hereinafter referred to as "hoist chains") for TH-class manual chain hoists. It consists of electric welded, heat treated and tested round steel short link chains, and complies with the general rules for acceptance specified in ISO 1834. This standard applies to hoist chains with a nominal size of 3 mm to 13 mm and an ambient temperature of -10 °C to 200 °C.
