Scope
This standard specifies the methods, comparative samples, instruments and equipment, operating procedures and evaluation of results for through-type and point-type eddy current flaw detection of copper and copper alloy rods and wires. This standard is applicable to eddy current flaw detection of surface and near-surface defects of rods and wires with an outer diameter of Φ2 mm to Φ100 mm. Rods and wires of other specifications can be implemented with reference to this standard.
