Scope

This part of GB/T 30160 specifies the term for latch needles. The latch needle is flat or circular in section, has a hook-shaped needle head, and a movable needle latch mounted on a fixed shaft at the front end of the needle head. During the loop forming process, depending on the action of the yarn, the latch can open or close the hook.
