Scope: This standard specifies the types, dimensions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, storage and transportation of metal-clad gaskets for pipe flanges (hereinafter referred to as gaskets). This standard applies to gaskets for raised face pipe flanges with nominal pressure not greater than PN 63, nominal size not greater than DN 4000 and nominal pressure not greater than Class 600, nominal size not greater than DN 1500 (NSP 60).
