Scope
This standard specifies the calculation methods for the deviation and precision of various measurement methods and the precision of the quality obtained by a certain measurement method. This standard is based on confirming that the measurement method has no bias through data statistics, calculating the variance to measure its precision and examining the linearity of the measurement within its working range. Calibration methods and performance test results, as applicable, can be used to quantify the precision and bias of the metrology method and to determine the linearity of the metrology device. This standard is used to calculate the deviation of the wet weight measurement method of the vehicle or ship concentrate, as the basis for the transportation, insurance, prepayment and final settlement of both parties in the trade.
