Scope
This standard specifies the methods for evaluating the amount of hydrogen absorbed in metals, measuring the effective diffusion coefficient of hydrogen atoms in metals, and identifying reversible and irreversible trapping of hydrogen based on the measurement results of steady-state diffusion flux of hydrogen in metals. This standard applies to all metals that can measure hydrogen permeation, and is used to compare the hydrogen absorption capacity of metals exposed to different environments.
