- This standard specifies the basis for determining serious civil aircraft (hereinafter referred to as aircraft) transport aviation accidents, general transport aviation accidents, general aviation accidents and aircraft ground accidents. This standard applies to the determination of aircraft accident incidents. This standard does not apply to the incident determination of aircraft requis tioned for specific purposes such as national rescue and dis ster relief. This standard does not apply to illegal flight or deliberate sabotage of aircraft.
