Scope: This standard specifies requirements for tobacco and tobacco products mildew control facilities and equipment, warehousing, storage, outbound control, monitoring and inspection, process control and handling of moldy products. This standard applies to mildew control of flue-cured tobacco, burley tobacco, oriental tobacco and their processed products (re-cured tobacco, tobacco stems and fragments, and cigarettes). This standard does not apply to reconstituted tobacco leaves.
