Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for marine loading instruments (referred to as loading instruments), and is a supplement to IMO MSC/Circ.836, IMO MSC/Circ.854, IMO MSC/Circ.891 and IACS Recommendation No. 48. This standard applies to computer equipment that implements functions related to ship safety issues such as loading, such as integrity and damage stability and overall longitudinal strength.
