- This standard specifies the naming principles of cultivated tobacco varieties. This standard is applicable to the naming of cultivars such as flue-cured tobacco, sun-cured tobacco, air-dried tobacco, burley tobacco, oriental tobacco and yellow flower tobacco that are to be submitted for national or provincial approval (recognition) and registration.
