Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of pincers, cutters and pinch cutters. This standard is applicable to torsion pliers, cutters and pinch cutters for general operations. This standard does not apply to pliers for live work and pliers for special work.
