- The groove types, dimensions and tolerances specified in this standard are applicable to the installation of dust seals for piston rods of reciprocating hydraulic cylinders. There are three types of installation grooves for dust-proof rings for piston rods of reciprocating hydraulic cylinders: type A, type B, and type C.
