Scope

This part of ISO 10545 specifies a test method to determine the thermal shock resistance of ceramic tiles under normal conditions of use. Unless otherwise agreed, different procedures are used depending on the water absorption of the tiles and slabs (tests with or without immersion). NOTE ISO 13006 contains requirements for the properties of tiles and other useful information about these products.
