Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of medical diagnostic X-ray image intensifiers (hereinafter referred to as intensifiers). This standard applies to image-reducing Intensifiers for radiographic image intensification tubes, including single field of view and multiple fields of view. This type of product is mainly used in conjunction with medical diagnostic X-ray equipment to achieve image conversion. This standard does not apply to flat-panel or other types of intensifiers.
