Scope

This specification stipulates the minimum requirements for instrument measurement and pipeline isolation and purging design in petrochemical automatic control engineering. This specification is applicable to the engineering design of instrument measurement and pipeline isolation and purging for new construction, expansion and reconstruction projects of petroleum refining, petrochemicals and factories that use coal as raw material to produce fuels and chemical products. This specification does not apply to positive pressure ventilation systems used for corrosion protection or in explosive hazard locations.
