Scope: This specification specifies gate valves, globe valves, check valves, butterfly valves, ball valves, and plug valves for general use in petrochemical industries such as cast iron, carbon steel, chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, stainless steel, and some non-ferrous metals and their alloys such as copper, aluminum, titanium, and nickel. , inspection and management requirements before installation of valves such as diaphragm valves, traps, pressure reducing valves and safety valves. This specification is applicable to the inspection and management of petrochemical industry pipeline valves in petrochemical engineering projects with a nominal pressure not greater than PN420 (CL2500) and a design temperature of -196°C ~ 850°C. It is not applicable to valves in long-distance pipelines.
